Payment Policy
💳 Novaxa Payment Policy
At Novaxa Nutrition, we design the checkout experience to be simple, secure, and transparent. This Payment Policy explains the methods we accept, how we protect your information, when your card is charged, how promotions are applied, how we prevent fraud, and what to do if something goes wrong. By placing an order with Novaxa, you agree to the terms below. If anything is unclear, our support team is happy to help before you pay.
1) Accepted Payment Methods
We support a range of trusted options so you can pay the way you prefer. Availability may vary by country and device; your checkout screen will always show the methods currently supported in your region.
-
Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Master card, American Express, and other major networks.
-
Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay (where available).
We may add or remove payment methods at any time to improve security, reliability, or compliance.
2) Currency, Pricing, and Taxes
All prices on our website are displayed in the currency indicated on the product page or at checkout. If your card is issued in a different currency, your bank or provider may convert the charge using its own exchange rate and may assess a conversion fee.
-
Taxes & Duties: Applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or import duties are shown at checkout where possible. For destinations that assess customs on arrival, you are responsible for any additional fees levied by local authorities.
-
Price Changes: We reserve the right to update prices or run promotions without prior notice. The price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay.
3) Authorization, Capture, and When You’re Charged
When you place an order, we may request a temporary authorization hold from your bank to verify funds. The actual capture (final charge) occurs when your order is accepted and begins processing. If your order is canceled before capture, the authorization will be released by your bank (timing varies by institution).
-
Pre-orders/Backorders: Your card may be authorized at the time you place the order and captured when the product ships.
-
BNPL: Payment timing is determined by the provider; review their terms before confirming.
4) Security & Fraud Protection
Your security is non-negotiable. Novaxa never stores full card numbers on our servers. All payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant gateways using SSL/TLS encryption.
To protect you and our brand, we may use:
-
3-D Secure, AVS, and CVV checks to verify cardholder identity.
-
Risk screening tools that look for unusual activity or mismatched data.
-
Manual review by our team when an order triggers a security flag.
If we suspect unauthorized or high-risk activity, we may request additional verification (e.g., a billing address confirmation) or cancel the order and reverse the charge.
5) Order Confirmation & Receipts
After you successfully pay, you’ll receive an order confirmation email detailing items purchased, prices, shipping method, and your order number. This confirmation acknowledges we received your order; it does not guarantee availability. If we cannot fulfill your order for any reason, we will notify you and void or refund any captured payment promptly.
6) Discounts, Gift Cards, and Promotions
We love rewarding our community, and we want promotions to work smoothly:
-
Promo Codes: Enter codes at checkout before paying. Most codes cannot be applied retroactively. Codes may be limited to certain products, dates, quantities, or regions and may not be combined.
-
Automatic Discounts: If we run an automatic sale, the markdown appears in your cart.
-
Gift Cards/Store Credit: Redeemable at checkout; any remaining balance can be used on future orders. Gift cards are not reloadable and, unless required by law, are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
We reserve the right to cancel orders that misuse promotions (for example, stacking codes beyond eligibility or mass-creating accounts).
7) Payment Errors & Failed Transactions
Payments can fail for many reasons—address mismatch, insufficient funds, browser issues, or bank security blocks. If your payment is declined:
-
Verify your card number, expiry date, CVV, and billing address match your bank statement.
-
Try a different browser/device or a different payment method.
-
Contact your bank to approve the transaction (especially for international orders).
-
If a duplicate charge appears due to multiple attempts, contact us—our team will review and refund any duplicates.
An item is not reserved until payment is successfully completed.
8) Subscriptions & Recurring Billing (If Offered)
If you enroll in a subscription (e.g., monthly vitamins), you authorize Novaxa and our payment processor to automatically charge your saved method at each renewal interval until you pause or cancel.
-
Change or Cancel: You can manage renewals through your account dashboard or by contacting support at least 48 hours before the next charge.
-
Failed Renewal: We’ll notify you and retry your method a limited number of times. If unsuccessful, the subscription will pause.
-
Price Changes: We’ll notify subscribers in advance. Continuing after notice constitutes acceptance of the new price.
9) Chargebacks & Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve concerns quickly and fairly. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us first. Most problems—wrong item, damaged goods, or delays—can be resolved faster directly with our team than through a bank dispute.
If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us, we will provide documentation (order logs, delivery confirmation, email correspondence) to your bank. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in account restrictions. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer protection laws.
10) Refunds & How They’re Returned
Approved refunds (see our Refund & Return Policy) are issued to the original payment method. Processing time after we approve the refund:
-
Card Payments: 7-14 business days, depending on your bank.
-
Digital Wallets: Typically 3-10 business days.
If the original method is closed or expired, we will work with you to issue store credit or another reasonable alternative permitted by law.
11) Overcharges, Double Charges, and Authorizations
Sometimes banks display both the authorization hold and the final charge temporarily. The authorization falls off automatically; we don’t control the release timing. If you believe you were double-charged beyond this window, send us your statement highlighting the entries and we’ll investigate.
12) Compliance, Privacy, and Your Data
Payment data is processed by third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS and other applicable standards. We receive limited information necessary to confirm payment and fulfill your order. For details on what we collect, how we use it, and your rights, please review our Privacy Policy. We never sell your personal information.
13) Business Customers & Large Orders
For corporate, wholesale, or high-value purchases, we may require bank transfer, a signed invoice, or enhanced verification. Orders may be subject to extended processing windows to confirm payment clearance and prevent fraud.
14) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Payment Policy to reflect new payment methods, security improvements, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we’ll update the Effective Date above. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
